CONTAINER SALE AND HIRE
We offer clients the sale or hire of all types of containers at Italy’s major ports and most strategic inland points in Northern Italy.
When buying or hiring a container from us, you will not have to see to any customs formalities for nationalising them, including the related costs. In addition, all our equipment is always covered by a fully valid Rina certificate.
We also take care of delivering them to your premises, at the best market conditions.
CERTIFIED WEIGHING
In July 2016 the Solas Convention came into force in Italy as well. It provides that, to be put on board ship every container must be weighed beforehand and covered by a VGM (Verified Gross Mass) certificate.
Our certified network of weighing stations at various points in Italy allowed us to provide this service to our clients from the outset, and today we have a certified method for weighing any type of transportation anywhere in Italy, using an automated service that allows you to receive the shipping document as soon as weighing has been done.
FLEXITANK INSTALLATION
Do you need to transport liquids in containers?
Stopping has never been for us, and so we are always looking for new services we can offer our clients. We can now also take care of setting up flexitank containers, that is, flexible containers installed in a 20 foot container, for transporting non-hazardous liquids. We also see to assembly and certification for you.
TARPAULIN SALES
Are you tired of having to return the tarpaulin to your supplier when shipping is over?
To complete out of gauge container transport, we also provide out clients and their loaders with PVC tarpaulins in standard sizes or made to measure.

TEMPORARY WAREHOUSE SAFE-KEEPING
Do you have problems receiving or getting your goods to the port? Leave it to us!
Thanks to a new series of agreements in Italy, we are able to receive your goods for temporary safe-keeping in warehouses, for as long as you require. These are areas equipped technically to receive IMO containers, with dedicated stanchions for reefer connections as well.
SALE OF THERMO BLANKETS AND FARDAGE FOR CONTAINERS
Do you need to keep your items at a certain temperature, or stabilise your goods inside the container?
At MTO we can provide you with various types of fardage, from timber spacers to telescopic goods securing bars, to prevent movement inside the container, as well as airbags, humidity absorption bags, and thermo blankets.
